Giving back to Wesley Woods is deeply personal for our grateful families. Roger moved his mother from Birmingham to Wesley Woods so she could be closer. Although the transition was difficult at first, the mission of Wesley Woods—to create communities of connection, well-being, and promise for older adults—quickly came to life. The loving, compassionate staff and welcoming environment helped his mother feel at home where she lived for many years.

Roger and his wife, Elaine, now give annually from their IRA so others can experience the same quality of care, especially those who may not be able to afford it. They encourage donors to consider Qualified Charitable Distributions from annual RMDs as a meaningful, tax-free way to support Wesley Woods.
